Firm Advice is, once again, exclusively representing a prominent non-profit, this time in search of a Law Librarian. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in intellectually stimulating matters, collaborating closely with esteemed experts in the dynamic realm of finance. As a testament to the significance of this role, you will report directly to the General Counsel.

Position is hybrid and has flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Research: Showcase your virtuosity in legal research, navigating both conventional and cutting-edge electronic resources to provide invaluable support to our legal team.
Ownership of Corporate Duties: Demonstrate your finesse in corporate responsibilities, from curating and disseminating brochures to overseeing the publication of curated content on digital platforms.
Sculpting Historical Corporate Data: Craft and maintain a repository of historical corporate data and work product, contributing to the organization's efficiency, legacy, and knowledge base.
Strategic Social Media Engagement: Elevate the non-profit's profile in the financial community through astute social media management. Curate compelling content, engage with stakeholders, and enhance the organization's digital presence.
Cultivation of Professional Development: Participate in a collegial environment that fosters mentorship from industry leaders. Contribute your expertise while honing your skills amidst a community of high-level experts.

Qualifications: 

Academic Excellence: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional experience is a prerequisite, with a Master's in Librarianship or Information Science from an ALA accredited institution considered highly advantageous.
Proven Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 plus years of hands-on experience in a law library, ideally within a law firm or corporate legal department, showcasing your in-depth understanding of legal frameworks.
Tech-Savvy Expertise: Over 3 plus years of proven experience in creating, accessing, and managing electronic information. Proficiency with databases, integrated library systems, client-server applications, software, and electronic information resources is a must.
Legal Research Prowess: Demonstrate substantial knowledge of legal research databases and web-based subscription services, underscoring your ability to navigate the complex landscape of legal information.
Social Media Aptitude: Basic experience with social media is required. Showcase your ability to compile information and engage in meaningful interactions through posts, aligning with the non-profit's mission and values.
Technological Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, emphasizing your capability to leverage technology in enhancing library functions and corporate responsibilities.
